B-hive Site Staff Solutions provide an array of services, which is inclusive of our proposition

    TUPE SUPPORT

    As part of the monthly administration fee that is only chargeable once we start the employment of your onsite staff, our HR Team will ensure that the transfer of the site staff adhere to the TUPE regulations and that we have all the necessary information in order to set the employees up on our systems. This means there are no delays in the payment of the employee’s wages.

    The transfer process is as seamless as possible, which encourages the site staff to continue to provide the required service to the residents.

    INDUCTION

    When employees transfer over to B-hive, it is important they understand our Core Values and the support they can expect to receive. We have a short induction presentation that is provided to the employees by the Director of B-hive Site Staff Solutions, Kate Bowes and our Senior HR Business Partner, Anthony Weedon.

    If it is not possible to do this on site in person, we will, where possible, set up online via Microsoft Teams as a live presentation with a Q&A should the employees have any further queries.

    HR BUSINESS EXPERT

    Our Senior HR Business Partner, Anthony Weedon, has over 15 years’ experience in HR and has worked with B-hive Site Staff Solutions for 6 years. Anthony is further assisted by the Vegner Group’s HR team. Anthony has experience in disciplinary, grievance and full employee life-cycle management. He provides support and guidance to the client, the employee and Property Manager regarding any HR management issues.

    All major decisions regarding disciplinaries or employee restructures, i.e., redundancies, are approved by our Employment Insurer to ensure the client or B-hive are protected against any employment tribunals.

    HR SYSTEMS

    Our HR system provides the Property Manager, employee and B-hive team access to employee documents, such as contracts, job description and all relevant ID documentation. Sickness and holiday requests are submitted and approved via the system. The line manager receives holiday requests instantly via the employee’s smartphone app. Once any sickness is logged, it is linked to payroll and the employee is notified if any adjustments are made to their salary. This technology helps us identify absence issues and trends and to address any potential issues before they escalate. 

    In addition to the support from HR and the employee’s line manager, we provide access to an Employee Assistance Program. This is a 24-hour support helpline from Health Assured.

    PAYROLL

    As part of B-hive’s service, we have a dedicated Payroll Administrator who provides the following services for our employees and clients:

    • Payroll administration
    • Overtime calculation
    • P60 form and year end forms
    • Pension scheme setup and administration

    TRAINING

    We ensure that all of our employees have general Health & Safety training in order for them to complete their duties safely. The training is completed online and consists of 2 separate courses:

    • A General Health & Safety Awareness Course
    • A Fire Marshall Course

    More specific training can be requested, however this is chargeable. Please see the Additional Services section for further information on this.

    INCIDENT REPORTING

    Should there be an incident on site involving a Site Staff Solutions’ employee, B-hive Property Solutions’ Health & Safety team will be requested to attend to take statements and provide a report to the Property Manager, giving any recommendations where required.

    EMPLOYEE DAY TO DAY MANAGEMENT

    The Property Manager will be the employee’s immediate line manager. Where there is an Estate Manager in place and on site, the Property Manager will work closely with them to ensure effective management of the employees. This includes regular meetings with the employees to review performance through regular appraisals, to establish training needs and discuss any day to day issues.

    The Property Manager is well placed to make sure the client’s requirements are communicated to the employees.

    ESTATE SUPPLIES

    B-hive Site Staff Solutions has recently partnered with an office supplies company who provide competitively priced estate materials to our developments. Examples of office equipment includes paper, stationary to PPE, including gloves, masks and hand sanitizer of which we currently ensure all Site Staff Solutions’ employees have access to where required.

    Whilst the cost of the supplies is charged back to the client, we are confident that the pricing we have sourced for B-hive Site Staff Solutions’ developments is some of the most competitive on the market at present. High quality products are provided, with the vast majority being on a next day delivery guarantee. 

    INSURANCE

    Employee Dispute Insurance is included and covers B-hive Site Staff Solutions from any claims that might be brought by the employee against the employer. All decisions are signed off by the external insurance company to ensure risk is limited.

    ADMINISTRATION FEE

    B-hive Site Staff Solutions’ administration fee is charged on a monthly basis, as a percentage of the total monthly salary costs. The standard fee is 15% which is a competitive market price for the employment of staff. The 15% includes all of the inclusive services listed above.
